You’ve made a flyer for your business. You’ve handed it to your ideal prospect.
Now what can you do to make sure the prospect actually does something with it?
Hi, I’m Carmen Sognonvi.
If you want something to happen after a prospect gets your flyer, you have to include a call-to-action.
Keep watching to learn 4 types of calls-to-action you can use on your business flyers.

By the way, if you want to get a list of the 7 tools I rely on to run all the marketing at my business, head on over to CarmenSognonvi.com/Tools.
I’ll show you everything from how I track our flyer distribution to who I use for printing and graphic design.
So, including a call-to-action on your flyer is critical. You need to tell the prospect exactly what you want them to do next.
If you don’t give them any action to take, they’ll take no action at all.
Let’s say that you’re a hair salon and you’re offering a 50% discount on haircuts for first-time customers.
Here are 4 different types of calls-to-action you can include on your flyer that will allow prospects to redeem the discount.
1. Bring this flyer into our store
This is the most old-school method, but it still works. If you’ve got a physical storefront, you can simply ask them to hand the flyer to you in person. Once they’re there, you’ve got a great opportunity to build rapport and book an appointment.
2. Call and mention this flyer
This is another really simple method. Have them call you to schedule their first appointment, and make sure they mention the offer on the flyer. When you’ve got them on the phone, be sure to capture their full name, phone, and email address so that you can add them to your marketing database and keep in touch, even if they end up no-showing for the appointment.
3. Visit www.SampleBusiness.com/offer
Have them visit your website. BUT whatever you do, don’t just send them to your home page. What you want to do is create a landing page. The page is all about the offer on the flyer, and it has a form they can fill out to fill out to redeem the offer. Make sure there is no navigation or other links on this page. The only goal of this page is to get them to fill out that form. So don’t include any distractions.
4. Text the word XYZ to this phone number
There are all kinds of cool things you can do nowadays with SMS, or text messages. In our business, for example, we use a service called Fix Your Funnel which integrates with InfusionSoft, and it allows users to automatically receive info about our programs by texting a word to a phone number. Once they do that, they get into a conversation with us that looks like this. Not only do they automatically receive the info they requested, but InfusionSoft will automatically add them to our database, with their first name, last name, phone number, and email populated in the correct fields. It’s really cool stuff.
