Carmen- I’ve DEFINITELY fired a customer before and let me tell you, it did not go well. He just couldn’t believe that I didn’t want to take his money any more, and I got several harassing calls after I cut all ties. That was a long time ago (when I was still in college and just experimenting with being in business for myself), so I’ve learned a lot since then. Specifically, I like to set up defined projects, so that way there is a natural breaking point for the work to end.

Wow, what a long way you have walked on. I usually SUCK at celebrating my successes, because I’m always ungrateful – I personally believe that being ungrateful is the FUEL that keeps you going, always hustling for MORE. The only celebration I do when I succeed is shout delusional & egoistic self-affirmations back at me. which fire me up like a flame thrower !

You have to manually do it. There isn’t a sync for mac, but if you’re on pc, I think you can sync.

The google Task on your computer is part of the google calendar. But it’s a separate app on the mobile phone.

Hi J.D. thanks for the feedback! I try to keep these videos as succinct and to-the-point as possible, so I’m happy to hear that it’s working.

Like I said above, I really need to give Evernote another try. The last time I did was a couple years ago, and I just couldn’t seem to figure out the best way to use it. Maybe I should stop overthinking it.

Hey Marie, oooo that’s good to know about google cloud. How does the back-up itself work? Is it also automatic or do you have to manually do stuff?

And as for Google Tasks – do you mean the one that comes with Gmail? Or something else?

Hey Laura, so many people rave about Evernote, but I could never get into it. I think I need to revisit it, but maybe first watch some kind of tutorial video to see exactly how people are using it. I find that Springpad’s interface is more visually pleasing, but at the same time I keep thinking I’m missing out by not using Evernote. LOL!

Nicely done. I like how you kept it simple and to the point.

I hadn’t used Springpad before, but I just checked it out and it looks pretty sweet.

I’ve mostly been an Evernote person, but I’m always open to new tools for notes … especially notes.

I just switched my cloud from dropbox to google cloud, for $5 a year you get 20G of space, Dropbox had such a drastic change from free to the paid ones.
I’m using evernote, but I will have to check out spring pad.
And I like my google task lite, because it syncs to the online, and I can always (try to anyway) keep to task.
Ugh, may be too much google.

Great post. I have to check out Stitcher.

My favorite app is Evernote. I have it at work, home and on my phone. Whenever I need to remember something, think of a blog post, etc. I just type it up and it syncs when I open each device.
